The Green Door Project

The upcoming Green Door Project is a mission trip to Mozambique, Africa, lead by Phil Johnson, who serves as a full-time missionary, with Children's Relief International (CRI), in Mozambique. This Green Door Project team consists of 4 men, all from Powell, Wyoming, but who attend 2 different churches. So, in a very real sense, the project is multi-denominational as well as multi-cultural.

The Green Door Project, in it's simplest form, is a building project. However, although the building of houses for those in need is a noble cause in and of itself, it is not the building that is of primary concern to the team or it's leaders. There is really a greater calling for this team. First, to affect the lives of other people, in a positive way, reflecting God's love through the hands of His people. Ultimately, we pray that through these efforts, the gospel of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed and that those people who hear God's word preached and see and feel His love in action, will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
